In a new post on the official blog, Blizzard explains that players will be able to access cosmetics on a sort of rental basis, with the exceptions of battle pass cosmetics, collaborations such as the Transformers skins, Mythics, charity, BlizzCon, and other promotional content. In a post on Reddit, a player notes that currently, players can access skins from Seasons 9, 10, and 11, and with the start of Season 13, skins from Seasons 10, 11, and 12 will enter the rotation.

The text also reveals that in addition to these benefits, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive a 10% XP boost, helping them to progress in Overwatch 2's battle pass and the hero shooter's ranks. At the same time, subscribers to the console tier will have to redeem them via Xbox.
